Bushman Equipment, Inc, a manufacturer of custom-engineered material handling solutions, has delivered two unique jib cranes to an aluminum mill in the Middle East. Bushman’s customer provided a number of its casting systems that included Bushman’s semi-automated jib cranes, or “manipulators”, to lift and set the distribution troughs.
Bushman Equipment, Inc, a manufacturer of custom-engineered material handling solutions, recently delivered a mechanical upender specially equipped with manually adjustable, hand crank V-blocks to a manufacturer that serves the nuclear power industry. The primary use for the floor-based unit is to upend to 90 degrees, large cylindrical weldments weighing up to 80,000 pounds.
Bushman Equipment, a manufacturer of custom-engineered material handling solutions, recently shipped the largest upender in company history. The unit was shipped to a new 350,000 sq. ft. plant built by Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. in Memphis, TN. The upender will be used by Mitsubishi to handle components of the electric power transformers it produces—the largest of which weighs up to 500 tons.
